The chaos that followed after Ryu showed up... was the worst thing you could imagine. The burning fire that surrounded the terrified people, Ansa was sure, was from hell. The flames licked up their homes, their food, everything the little town worked so hard to achieve. Years and years of labour was gone in a matter of minutes.
The screams of a hundred people could be heard as powers and normals ran for their lives. Her father had told her to run away with her mother and she had... but she came back. She refused to leave him to defend for himself, even though she knew full well, with his power, he could easily survive. But Ansa's thought were not clear. The fire, the smoke, the ash, the horror had entered her mind, allowing no rational thought to enter.
Hacking, she drove deeper into the smoke, the sparks for the fire burning her bare skin. The smell of burnt flesh made her want to gag or turn tail and run but she had to find her father; had to make sure he was ok.
A growling shout entered her ears, "WHY?!" Michael, her father. "Why are you DOING this?! All these people-"
A laugh interrupted him, "Because of you! You are why! YOU DROVE ME TO DO THIS!"
Ansa hurried towards the voices as they yelled at each other over the roar of the fire, over the sound of death. "That's a load of bullsh-" the rest of his sentence didn't reach her ear as a log from on of the houses came tumbling down. She tried to get out of the way but she wasn't fast enough. One end burning, but the rest still fine (though very hot) landed on top of her. She knew instantly that at least a couple of her ribs, if not all, were broken. If it weren't for her newfound gift (or how she was starting to realize, curse) she knew she would be dead,
Pain filled every nerve and she started to weep and wail. Helplessness of the whole situation scared her. This had to be a nightmare. Today hadn't happened yet. She was just nervous. This wasn't possible.
"ANSA! ANSA, BABY, WHERE ARE YOU?" Michael yelled.
Ansa closed her eyes as she breathed in more smoke and coughed harshly. "Daddy..." she whimpered, for that was all that she could do.
Michael heard her and came darting in her direction. "Oh baby," he gasped when he managed to find her. Kneeling beside her lightning fast, Michael started to struggle, trying to lift at least some of the pressure off of her. While he was doing so, she glimpsed  tears shining in his eyes and trailing down his cheeks. Ansa swallowed in shock, she had never seen her father cry before. "I have to get you out of here," he choked out, starting to cry hard.
"Leave, you have to leave Daddy..."
"I'm not leaving you," he growled, trying even harder to lift the log off of her. Shouting in vain, he couldn't; could only lift it a couple centimeters up. "Ansa!" The tears were flowing even faster now. He had to get her out of this. If he didn't, she would stay here, alive, immortal, in pain, for who knows how long, waiting for help that would probably never come. "I love you baby," he whispered, kissing her dirty forehead, "I love you so much."
More tears sprung into her eyes as she gazed up at him. "I love you too, Daddy." He gently stroked her face, moving away and smudging the ash and dirt.
"Michael," a voice went, causing her father to stiffen instantly and growl. "You know you can't do this alone." Her father's grip tightened on the log for a moment as his shoulders shook in rage.
"Help me," Michael finally spat as he spun around to face his brother. "Help your niece." His hand darted out and grasped Ryu's hair in his fist and hissed in his ear, "Use the power you've hidden from everyone."
Ryu swung his fist and it knocked Michael in the jaw. As his brother hit the ground, Ryu smirked, "Gladly."

Ansa gasped and flinched away from Gareth's worried, concerned eyes.
It had been two weeks since she had been moved here... to this room... Wonderful gifts, glorious food, exquisite drinks were constantly showering her but none of it caught her attention. Her eyes were always drifting back to stare out of the window longingly. Her heart, her soul, her mind yearned, ached, hungered to be outside again. This room was remarkable and a thousand times better then the ceil... but it still was a jail. She wasn't allowed to leave, wasn't allowed to go out the door, wasn't allowed to open the window, wasn't allowed to breath in fresh air, wasn't allowed to gaze out while the sun was out, wasn't allowed to see anyone except him and the maid, Glenda.
It had been two weeks since she had a dream of the past. The past was never a pleasant thing to dream about... mostly all of hers were terrible... before The 10 Ceremony was the only good memories she had... and Ansa treasured them.
Gareth rested a hand on hers, "Ans-" he started to say but stopped adurty when she jerked away from him. Crawling back out of her bed, she backed up until she felt the window against her palm.
Gareth's gave flickered to the dark window for a moment then back to her face. Slowly, he approached her as if moving towards a wild animal. "Ansa-"
"No," she barked, her voice wavering, as she stared at him.
Her eyes widened as he took another step closer. "Ansa, I know-"
"You don't know anything!" the need to scream crawled up her throat, begging to be released but she swallowed it down.
There was a long silence. "Why are you so upset?"
"I miss my home. I miss my parents. I miss my friends. I miss the sun. I miss fresh air. I miss walking around. I miss trees. I miss people. I miss my people. I miss feeling loved. I miss friendship. I miss having a normal, real life." Tears entered her eyes, and she allowed them to fall.
Gareth had been carefully taking steps towards her as she spoke, and at the end of her small speech, he now stood right in front of her. Gently as if picking up something fragile, he tilted her chin up with his fingers. "I'm sorry," he whispered, "I'm sorry that this is all happening to you... but I am trying to help as much as I can."
"Then let me leave," she gasped, hope suddenly flaring into her. "Let me leave and live-"
Ansa stopped talking, interrupted, as Gareth pressed his lips against hers...
He. Kissed. Her.

THEY KISSED!

and

I KNEW IT :DDD

What's Ryu's power? And, i don't think that you've mentioned he had a power before.

This was an awesome chapter. I now have an idea of how Ryu caught her. I just don't know why he would kidnap his own kin. That crazy heartless person that has an amazingly awesome name! *crys*

Thank you for writing this! It's awesome, and I wanna know how Ansa reacts. Part of me wants her to be like 'I luv you ^-^' but that doesn't sound like Ansa XD
